The 1921 GN cyclecar owned and restored by John Newens has been featured in the January edition of ‘The Automobile’ magazine.
This archetypal example of a GN was wired by the Vintage Wireman during the latter half of 2019. John approached us looking for a bespoke solution for the wiring and the ability to perform the work on-site at his delightful Georgian house opposite Hampton Court Palace.
A bespoke loom was produced which incorporated some up-to-date safety features such as an electrical cut-out switch and a fuse box. The loom was produced with an entirely period look and where possible was hidden from view. The finished car is a credit to John’s attention to detail and we are honoured to be associated with such a great restoration.
